Our Partners

XEMX is working with Advanced Energy Materials (ADEM), a research lab based in the US, on developing a new biogas purification technology using a patented nano-material that results in more efficient CO2 capture and lower energy usage.

XEMX was the first company to supply CBG to IOCL on a commercial scale. It has partnered with IOCL to supply CBG to its retail outlets in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Maharashtra.

XEMX has partnered with GAIL to set-up 100 CBG projects across India in the next 5 years. GAIL has agreed to assist XEMX identify and establish agreements with the right points of demand through its network of various City Gas Distribution companies (CGDs) for selling the produced CBG.

XEMX recently signed a pan-India MoU with the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoPNG). MoPNG will assist XEMX in identifying the right geographical areas to focus on and provide CBG policy related assistance and guidance.

Our Approach

Our secret to success stems from our focus on technology and decentralization of CBG production.

Our projects are split into multiple smaller units that are situated right next to the feedstock. This approach generally helps us streamline operations and make them more cost-effective. This results in many benefits such as access to high quality feedstock, a tolerance to digester failure, and a significantly lower feedstock price.

XEMX is founded by technocrats with deep expertise and patents in various agri-biomass digestion technologies and biogas purification technologies. All of our plants are equipped to operate with Zero Liquid Discharge. They are also fitted with sensors for efficient plant operations and control. We also use mostly indegenous equipment that is both cost effective and easier to maintain.

A Force for Good

CBG has a net positive impact on the economy, environment, and agricultural sector. It is seen as a force for good by the public and the Government of India.

By collecting and processing agricultural wastes in large bio-digesters, XEMX helps reduce the emission of harmful methane, which contributes heavily towards global warming. One ton of Methane is equivalent to 84 Tons of CO2. Given that this is the case, a typical XEMX project results in a total average saving of 350 Tons/year of CO2.

India’s economy is largely agrarian and hundreds of millions of people rely on it for their employment. By purchasing agricultural wastes, XEMX is providing the sector with an additional source of income. In addition to this, it also helps farmers with easy disposal of these wastes, which typically is a challenge in industries like poultry.
